Hands-free mobiles are not safe
Recent research by the University of Utah proves that drivers in
conversation on a hands-free mobile take 20% longer to hit the brakes
when they need to. Recently, it has been shown that a driver on their
mobile has similar reaction times as someone over the drink-drive
limit.
Silver drivers are safe
Older drivers are no more likely to have an accident than other
age
groups, is the key finding in a recent RAC Foundation report. Older
drivers figure more in KSI statistics because they are more fragile.

From latest figures, the national pass rate for the practical driving
test is 43%. In 1935 the pass rate was 63%.

A recent survey by local residents suggests the neighbourhood
with the most learner drivers is in East London. They counted 409 in a
12-hour period. Perhaps I won't say where exactly, 'cos they won't
thank me.
