Theory & Practical Test Booking Fees Warning
There are a number of internet companies that will charge you around £20 on top of the actual DSA Test fee, when you use their website to book the test. However, if you use the official Direct Gov website to book your Theory Test or Practical Test , you will NOT be charged a booking fee. Here is the link for for current Driving Test fees.
Hands-free mobiles are not safe
Recent research by the University of Utah proves that drivers in conversation on a hands-free mobile take 20% longer to hit the brakes when they need to. Recently, it has been shown that a driver on their mobile has similar reaction times as someone over the drink-drive limit.
Silver drivers are safe
Older drivers are no more likely to have an accident than other age groups, is the key finding in a recent RAC Foundation report. Older drivers figure more in KSI statistics because they are more fragile.

From latest figures, the national pass rate for the practical driving test is 43%.
